From my log on the Waymark - WM8610 Allambee, (late Posting here - 9/11/16)
"I got to the coordinates of the Waymark page, and thought "WHAAAT!!!"
There is some kind of survey marker, a wooden stake, but that was all. Without internet I was luck to have the GCA trigs on a GSAK database, so saw that I was near TP3348, "Trida Area". Adjusted the coordinates, and without the page I didn't know you could drive there if you took the "Hard Left" option. I drove around and up a bit, and I thought I might be able to find a track up from the other side, but no.
Set up my tent on the side of the dirt road, whacked a headlight on, and took a backup torch, and climbed up the embankment, and through a fairly open forest of trees that had been hit in a fire at some stage - lots of smaller branches lower than normal.
Soon found the trig, climbed up, hoping clarify the name if there was an identification plate, but none there. Took a couple of photos (@ 2310), then walked down the road, noting a couple of fallen trees, and back around to the temporary 'base camp'. Soon asleep despite high winds.
Then went up there in the morning to get some better photos." Daylight photos taken @ 0826, Friday, 6/5/16
