Gallery of log for GOAT HILLS ST 1004 MWT
It was eight years age I first walked up here, it was with MrsD, AmazingDaughter and one of her friends, we came up to find GCVJV7 Big Woks we even got a photo of every one in front of the tower.
Nearly seven months ago after work I made an epic up the Montrose trail to find the last of the "Montrose List" caches. This was my 31st trip up the trail as I only found then one at a time and a lot of them at night. On the way back from finding the cache I made a detour and continued along the East West Trail to the top of Goat Hills and listed this trig point, I then walked down the Zig Zag Fire Trail back to the Montrose trail ariving at the car just on dark.
This evening I thought I would log this trig as it had been a while and no one else had found it.
I parked at the gate and started walking up the Zig Zag Fire Trail from Colinsvale Road as I had done on my first trip. I left it a bit latter than I thought as the sun was setting behind the hills of New Norfolk, it did look lovely but I knew I would have to walk back down in the dark with no light. It wasn't until after getting to the top and taking the required photos that it did get really dark and I had to be carefully on the walk down.
I noticed they had painted over the gratify that was on the building the last time I was here, and they are working on the Zig Zag Fire Trail down to the Montrose Trail.

If you want to use an old photo that proves you were here go ahead and log it I don't expect any one else is as stupid as me and wants to walk up here again.
