Saint Saviour's Cemetery, Punchbowl, has the first recorded burial as Catherine Elizabeth Pearson (age 36 years) on 19th February, 1878. Although plots can no longer be purchased in the cemetery, people with existing rights can arrange for relatives to be interred here, so technically, it's still going!
