Gallery of log for Old Water Troughs of Australia and overseas

These horse troughs on Grass Tree Hill Road were only uncovered recently apparently left over from the Grass Tree Hill Road Station. The road construction began in 1833 and was known as "Carrington Cut". A gang of 50 convicts cleared the land and constructed the road Station. There is no plaque yet and information is scarce. If one is added I will take a photo of it.
