Cooeeee, a *FTF*.
STUNNING, FANTASTIC, WHAT A VIEW, SIMPLY FANTASTIC. You can see ALL of Canberra, the mountains behind Captains Flat, the Tinderry range too, Bowning Hill NW of Yass, Well beyong Mt Coree to the NW, etc etc, FANTASTIC.
Parked car at Camel Back car park in Tidbinbilla Nature reserve, out with the Mountain bike, and after quite a bit of hard slog to get to the ridge line, it was much easier riding along the ridge to the trig road - couldn't ride THAT! Walked up the last 200m or so, arrived at Trig 1hr 40 mins from start, then WOW, WHAT A VIEW. I forgot all my fatigue, took many pics, then just admired the views for 20mins. Everything is so GREEN too which makes the views even more memorable.
Then, back onto bike, and with a few seriously steep bits, the ride back was FANTASTIC, Cooooeeeeeee, 50 mins return. Seven Pics explain all. TOP SPOT.
