Gallery of log for WanAus 224 - Public Playgrounds Around the World

03-May-18
The WS James Reserve on the corner of our street has been a favourite for our kids when they were young, and for our grandchildren when they come to visit.
It is on the corner of Dunrobin and Rae Streets, Shepparton, Victoria, and has a train, climbing frame, slippery slide and swings,
Unfortunately there are no toilets or shelters in the park, but there are seats and a shady tree to sit beneath, as well as a drinking fountain.
It is used a lot, especially by the nearby State School teachers who sometimes walk the prep classes down there, and many ethnic groups utilise it.
It’s a real cool mini playground. For a small area the kids find plenty to keep themselves entertained.
