Gallery of log for Old Water Troughs of Australia and overseas

15-Feb-19
Whilst in Stanhope I found this wonderful example of an Annis and Bills water trough, complete with a display nearby of the history of that type of trough. There was also three tiny replicas of them.
The accompanying story told how all of these troughs were donated across Australia, and some of them to overseas countries as well, by a heritage set up by the Bills Trust so no horse or other travelling animal would go thirsty.
The display is well worth stopping at.
