Gallery of log for Celebrate New Year - Twice!
On this year's trip up to Rainbow Bay, I decided to have a look at what the areas GCA caches have to offer.
I am predominantly active on the Groundspeak site and have really only used GCA for locationlesses and the occasional trig point that I happened to be right next to.
Today I finally got a morning where nothing was happening, and so I went for a walk. It was quite a substantial walk (that's right, I can be active if I want to) and I ended up finding quite a few caches along the way.
This cache became my first GCA Virtual! I've been to this monument a couple of times before, but hadn't really been invested in the GCA side of things and had thus left this one unfound.
No tourists here today, and most people have left now that the surf comp has ended so a muggle-free find for me.
Attached a picture of my feet (it's not really the best weather to be wearing thongs at the moment back in Melbourne, so I'm taking every chance I have ).
Thanks to petan for placing this virtual.
