I told my muggle husband about this cache a few days before it was published and he was so pleased with himself for finding a gecko amongst the woodpile at our holiday house, where we staying at the time. I said unfortunately he was a few days early but have posted the photo here for others to see.

I have going into our backyard regularly since then in the hopes one seeing one of our two resident blue-tongued lizards. I haven't seen one yet but this morning I saw this small skink sunning itself under our deck. They are common in our yard, but only when the sun is shining.
