In April 2000 my family visited Sydney. My three year old son insisted we walked across The Bridge. When we reached the southern end he was very disappointed. On the previous night's TV News he had seen the Olympic Torch Relay crossing the bridge. He thought we would see the torch when we crossed the bridge. We did walk to the Opera House and see some of the competitors finishing the Women's Triathlon.
