Gallery of log for Tower Hill Fc ST607FC

We were heading home from a weekend in the north east of the state. After coming down Mathina Plains Road from Ringarooma we continued south on Golden Gate Road (someone must have stolen the gate) onto Tower Hill Road before hitting the steep Cabin Road up to the top. We were stopped by the gate approx 1.5km from our goal but there was no question about bailing out now so off we set on foot. After covering a fair distance we could see the peak rising through the trees, but it was still a while until we'd see the fire tower peeking at us from up there Exclamation
We pushed on to the end of the road and made the final assault on the steps up to the gate. We'd gone as far and high as we were allowed to go. Someone prior had decided they were not stopping at the gate having forced a way in Shame on you but this was the end of the line for me.
I'm glad SSR was able to get there this time, after sensibly leaving it last year. This way we both got to enjoy it!
