Gallery of log for Numbaa Trig
After a day just chilling at my van yesterday, I decided I'd go check out Comerong Island. I could walk over to it easily, but I wanted to check out the lower end and not have to walk 20km or more, so I decided to drive around to it. Unfortunately once at the turn off to the ferry I saw a sign saying the ferry was closed. I drove down to take a look at the Berry isthmus-to-canal location. How is there not a cache there called Berry Isthmus??? Whilst there I watched the ferry transporting locals across. I immediately wrote an email to the council wising why I can't access the NP with visitor facilities and its "three major habitat types - tidal shallows,
mangrove swamp and littoral forest - which are not well represented in other
conservation areas on the south coast." Haha.
Well, I figured if I'm down here I might as well expire somewhere else, so Greenwell Point it was. You can't help but notice this trig driving in, so I had to pull over and snap a photo with the Cappie.
What a cute little spot this is! Drove around the streets and pulled up and put my feet in the water at and sat on all the public jetties i found, but didn't buy local oysters as they just aren't my thing.
