Going out for an explore today and noticed a track leading off the main road in this general direction, so did a u-turn and had a little 4wd up the hill. I could park right beside the trig but didn't want to ruin any cool photo shots of the 360 degree view (except where a few trees are blocking the view) so parked 5m away. I recommend feet or a 4wd to get up the hill. I'd give you coords for the track entry but finding things like this is part of the adventure.
