Gallery of log for What Rock!

Egg Rock is situated in the Numinbah Valley on the western side of the Nerang River in Lamington National Park. It’s an example of a rhyolite plug from the edge of the massive volcano which has become a 410 metre high pinnacle in the valley due to the erosion of the surrounding soil and rocks over millennia.

I’ve climbed Egg Rock. When I hit the summit I saw an egg on a rock on Egg Rock.. true story! The previous climber had a sense of humour haha, thanks for triggering great memories and thanks for the cache Smile
