I came up Heywood Lane and was fortunate to meet the landowner (by the name of Heywood) who was on her morning walk. We chatted about all kinds of things, including my work and my interest in trigs. She gave me the history of the area and told me that Brookfield related to the early landowners/. I did not ask for permission to go on her land (as I'm male and she was a woman), but told her that a photo from the gate would be fine. We even exchanged some jokes. here is hers. "Five ants move into a house. Then another 5 move in. What do you have? TENANTS." The saddest part of this whole exchange is that she remembered my name, but I did not recall hers. She also told me that hares are not considered pests, as they do no dig burrows. Rabbits are another issue.
