Left it until this morning to go look for a new post for the gnome. First we called at the Southport Ambulance, then the Fire Station. Made a short visit to SEQ HQ at Lahrs Road near Yatala. Then continued north. Rain coming down in buckets by the time we got to Beenleigh. Drove around looking for any emergency service at all, stopped to refuel and found out where the services were clustered on the other side of the motorway. Found SES, Ambulance, and Fire Station. Eromsil very excited to see another SES. Begged to be let out then and there. Said he didn't mind the weather, just wanted to be there when the guys/gals rocked up next. I said with all this rain he might need to be reSEScued pretty soon. Please give him a good wipe down when you find him, he could be wet and rather dirty. [I didn't write in the log, it was too tight to extract and I didn't want to rip it.]Sad to leave my little buddy, I'd grown quite attached. Silly isn't it, but I felt a lot of affection for the little guy. He's a real trooper.
