Gallery of log for Peate

This was quite the unusual find. Rogerw3 had made me aware of other unlisted trigs in this area and I managed to locate a few on old parish maps. This one looked promising as there was bush in the general area. A bit of a random trek in the scrub before finding the "fire hydrant cover" type trig. It was full of water but it was exciting to see the original trig plaque placed under the hatch. Not sure when the change would have occurred but it certainly gives some hope that trigs like this are still around. See the photos. It's reminiscent of Black Mountain trig in Canberra.
