I think this was published just a couple of weeks after I'd travelled on the Spirit with Mum to visit her friends in Vic two years ago...so was really pleased to finally be able to log it when I took her again, this time. We arrived in Devonport at about the right time but there was no ship in sight. As it turned out, it didn't arrive till 1/4 to 8, and we didn't set sail till about 10:30pm. I think the weather had held it up, and it was to be a bit of a bumpy crossing. Given that we got on so late, the photo is taken in the last of the light. But you can just make out the silos.
