Gallery of log for Mt Stranger Trig
The tenth day of our excursion out of Tasmania touring from Melbourne to Canberra and return via Gippsland was marked by the best weather for caching. No rain, not even a chance of rain, some clouds but plenty of blue sky and a very light breeze which did not have a hint of the bitter cold of previous days. We started the day tracking down the cache for the Hobart to Canberra Great Aussie Icon Hunt and then we spent the rest of the day in the Tuggeranong area, some of the time in the hills. We had a great days caching.
We reached this trig point about 20 minutes before the sun was due to set. The views from this vantage point in the late afternoon sun were very scenic, making the walk to this point well worthwhile. The obligatory photos has been adedd to the Gallery. TFTC
