When I saw this cache earlier today I was convinced that it was going to be dead easy for me to get the requisite photo. There are kangaroos galore all around where I live, and they are even coming into our front yard at night to eat the remains of our lawn during the drought (see inset of photo for proof of their visits!). Anyway, I set out this evening full of anticipation, but there was not a roo to be seen. Last night there were dozens around. So I had to go to plan B, and the photographer insisted on including the Boonie Army Hat & Socceroos scarf to to top off my ensemble! Despite the pretty pathetic effort with the kangaroo on the flag, I did include the evidence of real life roos - taken on what is left of my front lawn, so I hope that suffices.
