Gallery of log for Mount Montagu ST64
Found this yesterday, twice in week 
, got lured back by a couple of bits we missed last Saturday. Left Betts Road at 1.25pm, walked along tracked then up river bed to the siphon track, up the siphon track very steep and no steps to Wellington Falls, across to old 4x4 track and along to first less steep but a longer Mt Montagu track, up that a few photos at top then down steeper track(bit slippery in spots). Once back at the old 4x4 track along that to Norris Hut(placed cache), good view from rock above roof. Back up the old 4x4 track to Thumbs/Cathedral Rock turn off. Harder going this way across the Thumbs etc, and it was a very long slow descent down from Cathedral Rock. Back to car 9.05 getting dark.(7.40minutes) Don't recommend doing the walk this way, will send you gpx file of track if you want. TFTC AlbyD
