We had been looking for a destination for our next group walk and up popped this one! Perfect - a great walk and one that we all wouldn't have ordinarily done. Me...I hadn't been to the West Coast, well, since the last group walk to do the Devils Gauntlet West Pillinger cache. So that's a bit fitting in itself. Corinna has a lot of charm and was a lovely place to stay. The walk up Mt Donaldson was amazing. Winding through the myrtles was enchanting, and with all my stops for photos I was fearing it would be an 8 hour walk. As the terrain changed while we climbed it kept the interest to see what was on further ahead. The mist came in as we were heading up through the buttongrass, but just as we reached the summit, it stopped and cleared, and the views were revealed to us like a curtain was lifted. Wow.
