Even tho the sun had set before we headed on up the hill we didn't need to use the headlights until about half way up. Then we noticed that some of the cattle were walking up besides, and their eyes were 'glowing' back at us
The current trig is a white painted concrete pedestal with intact plastic pole and black vanes. The stone cairn is spread around a fair bit, with only some of the vanes present.
