1545 While I have had the maps showing that there is a few Trigs out this way unpublished It took having this one published to give the impetus to get out and find it. Being quite a sunny afternoon I actually parked on the opposite side of the road in the shade. Then walked an access track to a closed gate - easily around that, then just had to find a way up from the road. Once up to the fence line the way was a bit clearer from the multitude of cycads growing up the hillside. Couldn't see the trig until almost 20 m from it. The base is in good condition, but there must have been a bushfire a few years ago that melted the white plastic pipe, so the black vanes are lying on the ground beside it. There is also a cairn of rocks very close by, but I couldn't see any survey marker around on rocks (like at Pinanpinga). Lots of birds and a couple of wallabies, but no reptiles.
