Out with Coldrum and 1260smc on the Lewisham/Tonbridge ringing outing to London.
A bit of time to spare before ringing here so stopped to do this one. Almost stopped from finding some of the info by a market stall but got there in the end. Answers sent. Can certainly recommend the De Nata Portuguese tarts. TFTC

I first came across this cache when I got contacted after I'd hosted an event in Mubai while on holiday there. Unfortunately, although I'd visited the relevant gate, I'd already left the area so couldn't help. I've kept a watch on it though and offered my services for London when Michells&hound was looking for someone. Visited the gate during an extended lunch break on a lovely sunny day.
I happened to be going to San Francisco on holiday so offered to do that one too if the baton could get there in time. M&H did an impressive job and made it with a week to spare. So I managed to detour back to that gate on the way back to the tram station.
Like Bigedyben I did wonder about claiming the find as it's my first in Australia too but having been to all but 2 of the cities including the final in pre caching days and finding 2 different legs 8000miles apart, I decided I would do. TFTC and has to be a favourite.

Visiting Seattle from England with the twin aims of ringing on the bells at the University of Washington and visiting HQ for my 6000th cache.
Hired a car in order to head out to this rare cache. In two minds which route to take but a traffic jam before the shorter walk turnoff made the decision for us as only limited time before catching a flight later although that of course meant more climbing. Pleasant walk to cache and quick find once there. Could even see the traffic jam from the cache site. TFTC and has to be a favourite. Smile
