Logs for Asterope_ 

Hiked up to Mt Archer the hard way - finding this cache was harder! Recommend long pants and prepare to get some prickles. The lookout is lovely as is the entire walk. Didnt have a pen but took a photo. TFTC 

Went out for a gorge hike on this very thickly foggy morning - way too slippery. Decided to find nearby geocaches instead. Fog cleared and the sun came out 5 minutes after finding this cache - lovely little orchids at the lookout so found twice the treasures today!

We took a different route in (Grass tree track - off Esk-Hampton rd) but the sketchy rope descent was still the same!

What an absolutely gorgeous spot - very special! But so so soooo many ticks signed the log and had a swim.

We came up for a morning stroll to find wildlife and orchids, and accidentally found this cache.

Pretty successful morning on all accounts! 

This geocacher reported that there is a problem with this cache. 

This cache is located in a dangerous position in close proximity to a very fast one-way downhill mountain bike track. There should not be anyone walking up or down the track looking for this cache.

Whilst this was not the case with the cache when it was originally placed, it should be archived or removed for the safety of geocachers and mountain bikers alike. 

It was a lovely afternoon to tick this cache off my list. Last time I had visited this place I had two broken wrists - no mtb for me so hiking it was - navigating and dealing with obstacles was so much easier this time

Signed the logbook. Had a giggle at some of the comments left. Set off down the hill to Mt Aurum.

My second visit to Mt Aurum mine - always a pleasure to walk in this part of the park. The footpad to the site is considerably worn in since last time I visited - this site is just off the long range walking track - so it must be getting some traffic which is good! 

Second visit to the wreck - took some friends along this time. Started the walk in light rain and heavy fog, then the sun came out on the way back to the car - absolutely beautiful. Plenty of trees down and detours from the path due to fallen obstacles. The palm forest is always a highlight of this hike <3

Saw two snakes, a big lizard, lots of fungi and plenty of leeches (tropical strength DEET doesn't seem to phase them one little bit!)

We all signed the logbook, took a trackable and left something useful!

Nice easy cache to find on a super muggy afternoon taking the whippies for walkies. TFTC

I decided to go for a ride this afternoon and thought I would get my first cache done too!

Such a great view! Not too busy this afternoon either.

Cache is pretty waterlogged so could not sign - TNLN.
