Logs for Blue Canary

15-Aug-20
Well I finally got to knock this little monkey off my bucket list. I didn't see any of the listed trackables in the cache. There was an interesting rock sculpture across the trail.

Well I had to put out another container here. This time it is smaller. Please reconceal the cache when you find it. If you don't it will be visible from the road and disappear again. Unfortunately the last container had someones travel bug in it when it was geosnatched.

well even talking to the last finder I couldn't turn this one up. Hope last nights flood didn't wash it off. I tried to search the debris pile near the parking lot, but the water was too deep and too much junk was piled up.

Well apparently the park people came in with a stump grinding machine and eradicated the hiding spot. They also destroyed the original container, which I found lots of pieces of, but the new container survived as mentioned in a previous log. Since the hiding spot no longer exists, I had to relocate the cache to the closest available hiding spot.
