Visiting from Cleveland, Ohio with 3 of my kids. I’m hoping to fill in 4 of the last 5 squares needed on my Jasmer grid on this trip. Quiet walk along the lake for a super quick find. June, 2000...DONE! Tftc
Visiting from Cleveland, Ohio with 3 of my kids. I’m hoping to fill in 4 of the last 5 squares needed on my Jasmer grid on this trip.
Whenever we are out in nature we are always on the hunt for reptiles and amphibians, especially if my son is here. We hit the jackpot on this hike! A 3-4 foot rat snake was just sitting there stretched out right in front of us about 15 feet from GZ!!! Mr. Snake was not happy when my son grabbed him. He moved quickly and got away though before my son could get a safe hold on him. We also found a scorpion close to GZ! Exciting hike!!!
After we found the cache we hiked on some of the other trails and then relaxed on the dam swings. Absolutely beautiful afternoon at Lake Lanier!!!

Visiting from Cleveland, Ohio with 3 of my kids. A whirlwind 4 day, 9 state trip with lots of laughs and memories. The main goal was to fill 4 of the last 5 squares in my Jasmer but I also added 3 new states, some challenges, and 6 states in one day.
It was a gorgeous evening to be cruising on Lake Lanier with Captain John! He was friendly and very knowledgeable. We highly recommend contacting him if you need a ride to the island!

Once ashore, we climbed the hill and found the cache quickly. Took lots of pictures and then made our way back to the beach where Captain John had found a huge rock for us to use as a step back into the boat. Very thoughtful. It would have been a beautiful night to stay out on the lake and watch the sunset but Alabama awaits!!!

Almost 16 hours at the Magic Kingdom. I think we have successfully squeezed every last zippity doo dah drop of happy magic out of this place. The perfect place to celebrate my youngest's 10th birthday! Visiting from Cleveland, Ohio. Six days left, then back to reality. Thanks for the virtual to keep my streak alive!!!
