Logs for Coralgeo
27-Jun-16
Geotigger65 and I stayed on O'ahu for a few extra days after I attended the International Coral Reef Symposium at the convention center. Today we spent the morning snorkeling in Hanauma Bay and learned the answers for this Earthcache. We arrived shortly after 6 am and were done by 10:30 am when all of the busloads of people started getting there. That's a good way to plan the day! Mahalo for the smiley. -Coralgeo, Santa Cruz CA (#1269)
Geotigger65 and I stayed on O'ahu for a few extra days after I attended the International Coral Reef Symposium at the convention center. You're right, the cell phone tower is looking pretty tattered LOL. We enjoyed a walk around the park and took some sunset photos of Mokoli'i after finding the cache and signing the log. This was a tough one with all the muggles going in and out. There were also a few muggles around in their cars, but they were more interested in staying inside their air-conditioning on this extremely hot day. After logging the cache, we went to a nearby store, and I was thrilled to make a purchase I'd been on a different kind of hunt for. Thanks! -Coralgeo, Santa Cruz CA (#885).
What a very special spot, which we never would have visited without geocaching. I especially loved the bamboo tunnels along the pathways. Found the cache easily with the letterbox clues. The stamp and inkpad are indeed missing. Left one of my signature tokens. -Coralgeo, Santa Cruz CA (#882)
Great views of the tunnel entrance. GeoTigger65 was able to add plenty of pix to her photo album of tunnels (don't ask LOL).Found the cache and left a sig token. Thought we had a muggle watching us from a car when we went to put the cache back, but we think he was too interested in his map. TFTC -Coralgeo, Santa Cruz CA (#883)
Great views of Kaneohe and beyond. Took an extra moment to locate the cache, but we finally found it. TNLNSL -Coralgeo, Santa Cruz CA (#884)
Great cache, and with a food bonus! We thoroughly enjoyed meeting and chatting with the shrimp truck owner while having our lunch. Strolled over to the cache afterwards. GT65 left a couple of travelbugs in the nice-sized ammo can. TFTC -Coralgeo, Santa Cruz CA (#886)

Out for a day of caching with Sillygrlandjrr. Lots of activity at the park today with everyone trying to beat the heat. Found the cache fairly easily, even with the very clever camo. TFTC -Coralgeo, Santa Cruz CA (#878)
Had a bit of a math issue at the beginning (LOL) but finally got on track. Ants were still a problem. Just beware then going in for the grab. Discovered a TB; left a sig token. Thanks! -Coralgeo, Santa Cruz CA (#873)
Nice little drive-up. The original log was in the cache right where it should be. Previous finders must not have seen it tucked in there. All is good. TNLNSL -Coralgeo, Santa Cruz CA (#872)
GeoTigger65 and I were on a multi-cache tour with Sillygrl & Jrr today. We braved the crowds at the overlook to see the blowhole. The seas were so calm today that there were actually scuba divers just off the blowhole. Unfortunately, that meant the blowhole wasn't 'doing it's thing' as much as I've seen it before. We could see Molokai across the channel, which is where we were just this morning. -Coralgeo, Santa Cruz CA (#879)
There was a lot of activity at the park today. Everyone was trying to beat the heat. Found signal after a bit of a look, and signed the log. -Coralgeo, Santa Cruz CA (#877)
Out for a multi-cache run with SillyGirl and Jrr. This is a lovely little park -- I especially like the tree in the middle that was flowering. Found the cache easily. Took nothing; left signature token. TFTC -Coralgeo, Santa Cruz CA (#880)
This was the final of a 12-cache-day run with SillyGirl and Jrr as our hosts (Mahalo!). This was the first time I've ever been to the backside of Koko Crater. The cache is a little bit difficult to remove/replace, so be careful and patient! Thanks for the wonderful day ladies! -Coralgeo, Santa Cruz CA (#881)
We saw some little sandpipers, but no stilts today. The construction equipment was there, but no workers were around. There were some really large fish skeletons in the shallow waters of pond. Found the cache after looking around a bit. Left a signature token and signed the log. -Coralgeo, Santa Cruz CA (#876)

Here for the weekend for a quick visit to Disneyland. We started hunting for this one after dark. Had to wait out a city bus, then no one else wanted to put their hand in the dark hidey hole to find the cache. I finally took the plunge and was rewarded with the cache. Thanks! -Coralgeo (#849)
