Logs for G & G of SML
13-Aug-07
We saw lots of children whose moms will have fun trying to wash their clothes. One mom was even using the clay to do face painting on her children. They were having a good time.

This was our first regular cache in Canada. We enjoyed the hike but missed the train. We were above the track before one came along.

Thanks for another reason to stop along the Milford Road. This was our fourth for the day and the final one for our trip to NZ. Picked up Sealife TB. Will take it back to the states for a chance at a different ocean.
Our third find for the day. Thanks for showing us another beautiful NZ spot. TNLN
What a beautiful location! The power of water is awesome. TNLN

Starting to rain again after a beautiful sunny morning for the first time in a week. Enjoying the drive and song birds at cache site. Took a picture to show our American geocaching friends. TNLN

Beautiful area, enjoyed the creeks and falls. Spring time overgrown and covered with dew our shoes were quickly wet. Got within 300 feet and the muddy track stopped us in our tracks. Thanks anyway and no we did not drink the water although we did see someone enjoying a soak.

Loved the track downed trees and all. At the time we did not know how to recognize the item in the clue. The prickly bushes in the area our GPS took us to made us wish for the simple concerns of poison ivy around the caches we are familiar with back home in the States.

Our first find in NZ. One of us visited this site 30 years ago and promised to bring the other back. Now is the time. TNLN

Best part of finding this cache was finding the nearby rose garden. We loved the roundabout with tunnel entrances. Thanks for showing us a part of Hobart we would not have found without the cache.

Enjoyed the walk through another great Australian park. Our second Aussie Geocache. Left Goofy-est TB. Maybe someone will help him get closer to Tokyo Disney World. Also left a pair of sun glasses found along the trail. TNSL

What serendipity we made reservations months ago at the location of the initial coors and then checked for nearby geocaches just before leaving the states. This is our 1st find in the southern hemisphere. Great camaflage job. We dropped off our first travel bug (Jack-O-Bug) in hopes that he will see the world. We will post pictures of him at the Sydney sights in December.
