FYI the cache was in a hole in the ground when I found it - the hint object was used to cover the hole 

Solved the puzzle a few months back, so was happy to finally make the trip up. A hot day up here ….. looking for the cache was sheltered from the breeze but not fully from the sun! Tricky find as vegetation covered it well and a bit of a scramble under the first couple of trees to get to it. TFTC 

Geez that’s a tough one to find …. A needle in a hay stack or a cache in a pine needle stack!! There is a new mountain bike track a few metres below the cache, so can use that as access (the new track is just below the old “track”). TFTC 

Container replaced along with new log book .... hopefully this keeps the moisture out! 

Maybe time to move this as it is right on the edge of the new track, so when finished, this might be too easy 

No luck - if hidden at the peak then it may have blown away!!

Spent 20 minutes and cleared the pine needles at base of all trees within range and still no find. Lots of rubbish/bottles and rusted car parts in area and low branches so need to take care

Another thorough look behind all rocks within 2m, but no luck- cleared out leaves and also avoided damaging plants.
