Finally made the trek from Texas to grab this historic cache. Dropped a few travel bugs.

6:22am Wow. What an awesome cache. 19 years old. Staying in Palmyra and noticed this was “close.” Got up early and drove to parking lot. Heard lots of animal noises while headed down in the trail to this cache. Cache is in great shape and has all the original log books. Left a path tag and moved a travel bug. Nice hike back out, I forgot to mark the parked car but lucked out and got the correct trailhead. Thank you for this cache! 

Finally knocked this one off of the list. I was waiting to make #2900 but the weather was too nice not to take advantage of. Loved the hike and the views. Thank you !

This felt like a trip to Wallyworld. We decided to come here after visiting a local timeshare that we were tricked into visiting. We did get a rental car out of the deal though so no complaints. We arrived right at closing time and had to quarrel with the guard to get this picture. We did get to visit the little bar and enjoyed the scenery anyway. thanks for the cache
