On a sunny cool day we went out with camera and GPS to Abbott Bridge right here in our home town of Pelham, NH –USA Cool
Copying from the erected plaque placed when it was restored in 1998: "Abbott Bridge Built in 1827 without mortar and sustained solely by expert shaping of its arched stones, it is the oldest double-arched stone bridge to survive in New Hampshire" Always a two lane bridge, since it's restoration in l998 has been limited to cars and small trucks only.

Permission to log find granted by Ghosthunter. Interestingly we also had found another one of his virtuals during our trip to Gettysburg, PA. This is definitely a must see! You can be sure the next time we are up that way we'll stop to see his virtual during the day and hopefully at night too! Mrs. H2 spent all her summers in Friendship -Martins Point, ME with her grandparents. The coast of Maine is the best in the world and holds great memories. Thanks for a reason to go back that way Ghosthunter

Think the greatest moment for us was the enthusiasm shown by Minnie Mouse when our youngest granddaughter gave her a picture she had drawn Red Face Minnie took the time to write her a thank-you note in addition to signing the autograph book Big Grin
Our traveling TB I Love Charlotte made a quick stop here Smile Yes the days were hot and boy did we spend the bucks Surprised - but a wonderful trip to be long remembered!! Smile
