Logs for Lois and Clark 

This is one of the smaller piers around Michigan. Being surrounded by the great lakes, it seems every 30 miles or so is another one. Sometimes there is a south and north pier protecting a harbor.

There are quite a few dams in this area. There is another one about a mile away. This one is on the Au Sable River. We didn't see a name for it. Perhaps they are known by the river.
 

We found this out caching with a couple of other teams after the Alpena, MI geocaching event. It was right near a regular cache.
