Just found it on my way home. No-one around at that time of the day (9pm) so easy find and log. TFTC 

I found and logged that one yesterday (29.June 2019) on my 40th birthday! We stayed on the island for the night and enjoyed the peace and quietness of a decent winter birthday camping. It was a long search for this cache but an easy find in the end. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a pen with me so I tried to log with a stick and some dirt (see photo evidence). I will come back with a pen in summer! Thanks Nikki for another Wanaka cache! 

We had a look everywhere around and like the cache owner said, not many options up here. Given that the last found is 2 ½ years ago I guess that one is gone. Maybe the owner can have a final look? 

Came up and didn’t expect a cache up here. Checked the app and was surprised. Took a while but found it eventually. Coordinates are spot on but had to lift a few rocks to find the camouflaged container. Tricky one! Cache in a perfect condition although not visited for a year. Thanks for the cache! Probably my highest one in NZ so far! Cheers, MarkusNZL 

Today was the third try on this one and finally I found it!!! How could I miss it the first three times? Easy find this time! Perseverance pays off! TFTC 

Found on a lovely afternoon dog walk along the lake. Nice hiding spot. TFTC 

Finally, got that ticked off the map. Tried it first about two years ago and couldn’t find it. Ran, rode and walked past it probably a hundred times since then but always forgot to look for it or was in a rush. Today was the day! TFTC Nikki

Wow, what a fantastic spot! Have been living in Wanaka for 4 years now and have never been up here. I hope no-one will ever track down my approach to this cache... That was a mission. Finally found and logged this one, enjoyed the view and will definitely come back. TFTC 

A year of several DNFs now and still no trace of this cache. The owner or person who looks after the cache is not reacting to all the DNF comments. Unfortunately, this cache is probably blown away, washed away or who knows. Time to get it off the map I guess. Cheers! 

That was the third time that I looked for that one with no luck. Even in a radius of 20m no trace of a cache. I think too that this one is gone. Will write a request to archive this cache now. Sorry for the owner!

Wow, what a hiding spot! I’ve heard a lot about this cache and finally today I had a day off work due to the snow fall this morning and managed to pop in the library to find it. Needed the hint, though... Amazing spot that deserves a fav point! Thanks for hiding and for this amazing cache “container”!!! 

At the moment this cache is, unfortunately, just a ripped plastic bag cello-taped to a piece of plastic, containing only a collection of almost a dozen ripped pieces of paper. A great spot but the cache needs maintenance please!!! 

Easy find! I logged on one of the several single ripped pieces of paper. I think this cache could do with some maintenance (No cache container, no proper logbook,...) TFTC anyway!

Easy and quick find on a wonderful Saturday afternoon walk! TFTC 

YEAH, my first FTF (First to Find) in New Zealand ! When this turned up on Geocaching.com a few days ago I was in bed sick as a dog. Today, on my first walk after feeling a bit better, this was my first destination of course! It took a while looking around everywhere but in the end it was quite obvious. Nice hiding spot! Thanks very much for this cache!

Found it on an evening mountain-bike ride along the lake. Easy find although it was almost dark. Pencil is gone and the cord ripped but cache still in place. TFTC 

Found it on a spectacular evening bike ride and hill climb. Easy find and breathtaking views. Always wanted to come up here and finally made after 4 years in Wanaka. This alternative Wanaka Tree and cache deserve a favourite point! TFTC

Coordinates were approx 40m off but we found it thanks to the previous logs. Log”book” or better Log”sheetofpaper” is completely full and needs replacing. TFTC 

Found it pretty quickly, although the hint was a bit misleading (or cache in the wrong place?). If you are an experienced geocacher you know where to look without being confused by the hint! TFTC
