I exited Metro at this location on the way to a concert, so of course I had to stop to claim the cache. There was some kind of holiday festivity taking place, so the area was packed with revelers. But I still managed to gather the needed info. TFTC and for making me stop and really look at something I've passed dozens of times.

Had a few hours to spare before heading to Silver Spring for a concert, so I put them to good use exploring DC on foot and collecting virtual finds. The area very quiet on a chilly Sunday afternoon so I didn't have to fight to get near the sculpture. I had a little trouble finding the dedication, but just when I thought security personnel were going to come after me I spotted it. TFTC and for bringing me to this interesting location. Answers on the way.
Had a few hours to spare before heading to Silver Spring for a concert, so I put them to good use exploring DC on foot and cololecting virtual finds. This was the first museum I visited on my first trip here many years ago. I've been back to it many times since and never stopped to look at this sculpture before. TFTC and for bringing me here again! Answers on the way.
I actually visited this site last summer with the intention of making the find but neer got around to logging it. Today I had a few hours to spare in DC so I came by and explored it again. I remember first learning the history of what happened here in elementary school and then learning more about all the events surrounding it as an adult. TFTC and for bringing me here! Had a nice time exploring new caching territory with 3BAC. This was our frist find in the park. Took a while, but we finally came up with the right location. Happy to have such an ancient hide on my found list. T-NJ Tortoise TB
