Road Trip!
Off with Roman!, Adroit Seeker and Rain Willowsnap to collect a few of the older caches to complete the Jasmer Challenge... for some... plug holes for others Three more left for me!
Picked up lots of extra caches along the way including a pile of FTF's and I had a record 600 plus caching day bumping my old record of 567 caches!
All in all a great trip with some amazing scenery and view points. Almost makes you forget the almost 40 hours of driving TFTH

Well this was fun, hooked up with Adroit Seeker, Roman and Rainwillowsnap for a senic fall hike! About 10 miles from the parking area we quickly realized things were going to be a little different than we had anticipated. Each mile closer the site the colder it got. 5 miles out trees were blown over, partially blocking the road, we had to drive around the first and under the second. 2 miles out the snow began to fall... uhmm. We kepted on going... me, very pleased I'd opted to put the winter tires on the day before. Got to the parking area and we were in a winter wonderland... beautiful! But suddenly the thought of crossing the log over the icey stream with 6"inches of fresh snow seemed a little daunting and I was considering the idea of wheather or not this one was really worth it.
Fotunately we ran into some local hikers who told us about the new road/trail in bypassing the log, okay then, and off we went. Great hike after all and we enjoyed the final location although i'm sure it would have been better had everything not been coated in a blanket of snow. On the way out we decided to brave the log having passed a number of groups who had managed to cross with minor incident, no one was wet... at that point anyway. As we reached the log we came across a couple that weren't so lucky and they were sitting in front of fire trying to dry out. They appeared in remarkablely good spirits considering! Roman and I made it across gratefully and just as we hit land roman slipped... haha but he was dry!
Thanks for bringing us here and the great adventure TFTH

Out for a week of geocaching with Adroit Seeker and Roman to take on some power trails and geoart in Idaho as well as many other great caches along the way.
It was quite the adventure complete with lizards, snakes, scorpions and spiders... oh my! We also came face to face with more cows, bulls and horses on the roads and at caches than you'd think possible while caching. All while enjoying a record heat wave and amazing country side.
We managed a little over 2,000 finds on our trip and a personal record 567 caches on one hot sunny day while logging almost 3,000kms, making the round trip by car from Vancouver, BC.
Thanks to all of you who put out the caches and made this trip so enjoyable.
In most cases TNLN and SL (usually with our stamp "OAR" with paddles and maple leaf) and for the exceptions amendments to follow!
