My friend and I flew into AP and rented a "yute" and took the drive out to the monoliths. Photo of my yute on the road, and Uluru from the road.
I was SO close to WA I had to drive out and get another territory. I wasn't planning on it. I did the drive from AP to Uluru and Kantju Gorge. Then we ventured further west in the hopes of making another territory find. Honestly - I almost didn't make it. The light was fading. But I was able to make this the last find of my long, long day, before returning back to AP. (technically arriving back 'home' in the early morning hours of the next day. 
Found on our epic drive to Uluru & Kantju Gorge. It was actually difficult considering how long the day ended up being; but we enjoyed the drive and the opportunity to stretch our legs. TFTF
