I lead a bushcare group here on the 4th Saturday of the month and we weed around the chair. I usually forget a pen but when I saw the loose rock that was the giveaway. I made the find. Photo attached as yet again I forgot the pen. Tftc tnln
As mentioned I was a part of the melbourne crew that found this as a storm hit. Just getting around to log it now, but my date setting thing for previous finds seems to be broken.TFTC

Sad to see the trains have stopped. Some guy was sitting on the seat next to the phone box and was thinking how I am going to do this. Then they started snoring. Tftc tnln
Found a gap between the tracks to park and made a quick find. Put it back where I think it belongs. Tftc tnln
Quick find after visiting a grey nomad Took a trackable left as many as I could squeeze into the container. Tftc
GotDisturbed by a drone operator. So went away. Reading the previous finds realised I had seen something out of place so went back made the find and explained the game to them. Favourite from me. Tftc
Even had people selling momentous out the front. Didnt have much of a sales pitch though. Tftc

That was hard. It took around 8 hours including a few breaks to find them all. I arrived in the dark with pouring rain so camped at the road and started at 19. The first couple of dozen from that point where through some very nice scenery but the patterns where already there that would make it a slog. I had a few dnf but I dont think maintenance is just yet required. More I got frustrated and moved onto the next one. Or got distracted by the bush. When you see 100 in a close line like here you expect it to be quick but that wasnt the case at all. Next time take notice of the difficulty ratings they are indicative of it being a slow day. Much prefer camouflaged caches as they stand out more. A lot of these were just stuck into cracks or only the lid visible above the ground and they took a lot of effort to find. I point out again the difficulty ratings are generally indicative of this. Good range of hides. Not flooded with traffic but a few people did stop to ask if I was alright. Of course the driveway I stopped to have breakfast at, had the owner drive out while I was there. Saw a lace monitor around cache 25. Saw a dead one around number 90 that wasnt on the road the first trip up. Some beautiful trees and quite diverse structure. Got hot in the end Thanks for the series etc now to visit a grey nomad.
