Logs for Zoeker Bill
27-Apr-14
A bunch of us headed down to the Niagara area for the day to grab a few caches and enjoy a beautiful spring day walking along and into the gorge. As stated in other logs there are construction barricades set up preventing access to GZ. A picture of us in front of the fencing will be submitted by swed31. TFTC

Located the large container quickly but signing the log was a different matter. Leave it to Dex to make things interesting. TFTC
A very impressive looking lodge....have never been up to the actual building. Crystal Dawns located the container after a brief search. Left a couple of TB's. TFTC
Found this one while down in the Niagara area with Crystal Dawns and Dreadnaught grabbing a few caches. We must have been standing next to the Kai Team because we were there at exactly the same time. Will e-mail required info. TFTC
Running around with Crystal Dawns and Dreadnaught grabbing a few caches in the Niagara area. This is a very neat spot with a great perspective of the gorge and mass amount of water that tumbles through the gorge. Will e-mail the requested info. TFTC
Actually did a news story about this place a few years back...if you think it looks amazing outside you should see the interior. Glad you brought me back. A quick find with Crystal Dawns and Dreadnaught while doing a little caching in the Niagara area. TFTC

Neat little piece of information and a nice short multi which was a fairly quick find. TFTC
A nice short little multi. Was getting a little anxious as we approached the final. These are not my favourite hides but the coordinates were dead on and the cache was in the first place we looked. TFTC
My wife who grew up in Windsor and went to the university in this neighbourhood was astounded to find a working windmill in Windsor. A short walk from the parking lot to the cache area and a quick find. TFTC
Found the cache quickly and uneasily as there was a barrel of a Russian Sebastopol Canon captured during the Crimean War in 1855 pointed right at my back. TFTC

We were a little concerned by the presence of a security guard near the cache. Managed to get to the cache area and find the hide without arousing suspicion. TFTC
What I love more than pine tree caches are spruce tree caches. Not only is the cache difficult to spot but you get maimed looking for it. Spent about 10 minutes of rooting, searching and cursing until finally Kathy spotted the nasty little cache. TFTC
Quick find while we were caching our way to a friends house. Sat on the nearby bench, signed the log and took in the scenery. Great little spot. TFTC
The parking lot and the Kings eating establishment were pretty much deserted when we arrived at 5:30 on the Friday evening. Found the cache after a short search. TFTC

A very interesting little history lesson and a very neat statue in a great park on sunny Sunday afternoon. TFTC

Lots of places for this cache but persistence paid off and eventually Ed found the cache. TFTF
