Logs for baldeagle45

WOW!!! This one was something else. It was 117 degrees. I only took 1 bottle of water along with me when I set off for my walk in the desert. It was a very winding up-and-down trek between the plants. It was great that your coords were right on. After signing the log, I made it back to my vehicle in record time for more liquids. Thank you for keeping this oldie going. It was a great experience.

Thank you to all who were going to send me information and expecially to the 3 that did. I have most of the information that I need to go for this special cache. I'm really looking forward to getting my first caches in the state of Arizona. Take care and KEEP CACHING!!! Richard (baldeagle45)
I see that 59 are watching this cache. I would like to try to add it to my collection of oldest caches in the different states. I have 37 so far. However, I noticed by some of the previous logs that I need some kind of a permit to be able to go for it. I sent a message to the CO, but I haven't gotten a response. I'll, hopefully, be there some time this week. What is it that I need, and where can I get it? Please let me know ASAP. I'd hate to pass on this opportunity. The trips this summer will probably be the last long trips that I get to take (getting old). Thanks for the anticipated info. Take care. Richard (baldeagle45)

This cache was the reason that I headed to this part of Florida. I'm trying to get as many oldest active caches in the 50 states as I can. This marks another one off my list. It was a very pleasant stroll to the cache with my niece. It was her 1st time caching. I do believe that she's hooked. We did see the resident alligator. It didn't pay us any attention. That didn't bother me!!! Thank you for keeping this super oldie going. Tftc

One of the numbers on terrain/difficulty could be raised a little, because one of them is impossible. This was such a great challenge. I thought about this and studied the location for a long time. I finally read the previous logs and got the idea for the hint. Sure enough, there it was. Thank you for keeping this oldie going. TFTC

This cache was quite an adventure. I didn't get very wet going, but I did coming back. This was a great hike and thank you for keeping this old one going. Tftc

I have found at least 1/2 a dozen of this type of cache. Yours is the best. Most have wet logs. Yours was dry and in great shape. Tftc
The squirrels were playing around the cache site when I arrived. I made sure that they weren't home when I retrieved the cache. Tftc

Not hard to find. As stated by so many cachers, the face plate has broken and the cache is completely exposed. The CO needs to repair or replace. Tftc

I see that 25 people are watching this cache. I'm a party of "1" trying to add some dates to my Jasmer Challenge. I'm not a swimmer or a sailor. I'm asking if there's someone that takes Geo-cachers out to this one and back. It's the only one on the Lake with a date that I need. I will try to be there on Tuesday (July 16th). I know it's extremely short notice and that I'm probably "Out Of Luck", but I figured it wouldn't hurt to give it a try. There are only a few July/2000 left to be found. It's quite a ways from Illinois, but I'm willing to give it a try, with some help. Let me know if there are any possibilities, within reason. If I get no quick response, I'll be forced to pass it by. Thanks for at least reading this. baldeagle45

Great name for a great "OLD" cache. Thank you for keeping it going. It was obvious, but still safe. TFTC
