Found it quite quickly, cache needs a little maintenance as the tin is getting rusty. The log has been water damaged, if anyone has a small tin or official cache, I'd recommend replacing this one.

Went for a walk with the dog, after circling around for a bit we finally worked out how to use a compass 
and found it. Perfect spot!
