Logs for charcoal

Nice arvo for a walk, spent some time watching the surfers, mozzies are a bit of a pain, good hiding spot.
Warm arvo for scratching around in the recently mowed grass. Not many in the water, good cache, took nothing, left nothing.

Managed to find this without too much trouble. Brillant view from the point. Very spectacular with the steel gray rain clouds moving across the distant hills. Left nothing, only took rubbish left by previous geocacher (naughty, naughty) Well worth the visit, glad I brought a camera with me.

What a fun way to spend a dreary damp evening. Walked around the island the wrong way (of course), left clue printout back at house. At least I remembered to bring the GPS. Clambered up the cliff directly opposite the site, didn't know this at the time, naturally. Poor resolution/accuracy on the GPS, combined with low light and drizzely rain meant that I spent some time blundering around in the area. Getting moderatly damp and wiping out heaps of spider webs, when it was by the shearest of chances that I spied the container. Left nothing/took nothing. Although I've been visiting the area for several years, this was the first time I had gotten up to this spot.

Managed to find cache without too much difficulty, very humid though, a quick swim in the nearby (comparatively) creek washed off most of the sweat and dirt. Sorry but reassembly of the robot was beyond my capabilities

Was quite surprised at the size of the cache. Wasn't really expecting to find something like that. As a result spent some time looking in what I thought would be appropriate spots but of course weren't. Full marks for the location, managed to mash a finger in the rocks when replacing the cache. Left some electronic bits and took some toy cars (for the kids). Next person who goes looking for this cache be warned. Wear some aeroguard or rid, the sandflies and mozzies made a real meal out of me during my (short) visit. Charcoal.
