It does look a little like Venice. 

We were staying in the Travelodge at the top of the hill. After a lovely meal in one of the many pubs we had a nice stroll to this cache before facing the steep slope back to our accomodation. Luckily, the cache was easy to spot for one with the geo-sense.

Most of the street lights were out so it was dark and spooky when we arrived at 11:20pm. Very quiet though, just the occasional car passing through. Once we found the correct car park it was a nice quick find. I picked up a nice shiny geocoin to move on.
