I drove out here specifically for this geocache today. My vacation trip to Texas consisted of old ones County's and degrees. To drive here I was working off my phone's maps and of course lost signal getting close to the area so had to drive most of the way by memory. It was sort of tricky but worked. The 500-foot walk up to the hiding place was beautiful today - Sunny with perfect temperatures. I was looking forward to a view from the ridge but really all I saw was rolling hills with winter trees. I love the natural hiding spot or rather unnatural if you consider the fire. Thanks for maintaining this wonderful geocache I hope it lasts a long time. Thanks for the fun

What an incredible place to visit. It is very impressive even though it is only a skeleton of what it once must have been. I love having this as a virtual as well as it adds a little geo caching to an incredible place to visit. Thank you so much for adding to the fun.

That is a wonderfully well preserved furnace as compared to many I have seen. Thanks for the cache

Figured since I grabbed the last first I should make sure I grab the first. Thanks for the great series too bad I wasn't going east and too bad I didn't have the time to do more. Thanks for putting out this series
I'm walking away. Maybe it's because I feel like I'm in a hurry, but I cant find it
Guess I'm going to have to turn in my caching: credentials. Couldn't find either cache on this exit.

Sadly I think this cache will drown in the next rainstorm. I've tried to tie it up to get it out of the dirt a little bit. Hope it helps. Thank you very much for the cache.

Yeay, Another old fun one! Thanks for the maintenance. I found a matching gorilla a couple dozen miles west of here. Does anyone know the relationship between them?
