Second attempt at this one, and this time with my GPS phone to help narrow down the search area. Finally found it. Very sneaky hiding place, although with hindsight, probably quite obvious.
Finally dropped off our Kiwi trackable so that he can be on his way after a six month delay with us! Sorry all who are tracking him!

Tried to find this cache, but couldn't. Wanted to put a trackable in it and it's the closest I could find that would be big enough. However, forgot to bring my GPS phone to help narrow down the search area. Had to return again.

This was quite an easy one to find and I found it myself! The pencil needs sharpening though, so would advise to bring your own pen.
This one was a challenge. We crossed the river mud at low tide and stomped through the bush to find it, sticking to the path as much as possible. We criss-crossed the GPS co-ordinates a few times before my son went deep into the thicket and stumbled across the box.
It seems it hasn't been found in a while, and the box and clasp are a bit rusty and it was difficult to open. We did retrieve what looks like an interesting East European banknote, and swapped it for a Kiwi keyring.
This was a challenging walk, a challenging find, but a fun way to see something of Crocodile Island (although the crocodiles were mysteriously absent), which we would not otherwise have thought to do.
Thanks for a fun outing!
P.S. We also discovered the Amelia Earheart aeroplane trackable (http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?guid=334dea64-5fac-4342-b13d-6efd3675689c) but didn't realise what it was and that we should have taken it with us. We are on our way to Fiji and then Australia shortly too, so that's a bit of a pity.

The paper roll was a little wet, but we managed to leave a note. Quite an easy find and my son and husband found it together.
We found a Trackable being Tamati Kiwi whom we will take with us to Fiji in two weeks' time. Hope he enjoys the trip.
My daugther was pleased to find this well-hidden but easily accessible cache.

Couldn't get the clues on my phone, and suspected it was in the tree, but couldn't find it anywhere. Will have to go back again and see what we can find.
Lunch was calling so we didn't stay long.

Our first Goecache find!
Great fun looking for it, despite scepticism from my other half!
Very cleverly concealed and a fun find!
Now we gotta find more!
