Logs for little arthur man

10-Feb-13
After a bit of stuffing around, we came across the log entry from "C@H" (29/6/2012) which lead us to the cache. Had to carefully remove the resident caterpillar from the container but then all was good. TFTC.

This was very cool. Found it with Loquacity while at linux.conf.au. I quite enjoyed the "metres & bearing" rather than more coordinates as the answer to the Multi Cache (although we overshot the final location by a bit).

Found, but we didn't have a pen. I'll need to go past it again when I leave Canberra. Thanks.

Found. Don't mind the construction works. We thought it was going to mean trouble for this cache, but all is well. Again, forgot a pen, so I'll have to walk past it before I leave Canberra to log.

Thanks for this. Got it while at linux.conf.au. Couldn't quite figure out what it is you do when you procrastinate, but its still a nice area. For the record, I clean the house when I procrastinate Smile

Went along four our fifth(-ish) ever cache, and took a couple of mates for their first. It was our first multi cache, and we had a great time (although we didn't read the clue for C properly, and forgot to "Add the 3 Digits together". Also, we miscounted B and ended up being directed 344km away!

Anyhow, we figured out that it wasn't right, looked at our answers, and managed to figure out which ones were wrong.

TFTC, and we look forward to completing the rest.

I had a look at a map online before we drove out, and saw that there was a few caches around the quarry. Our GPS unit doesn't have a good basemap of Australia, so we just drove to the quarry, stood in the middle of the park, and then looked to see what caches were around. Wanted to do this one first, but a muggle was with his dog right next to the cache, so we did Nice day for a cache #1, then returned to find this one. TFTC.

Thanks for the cache, and for the cool swaps people put inside. First time walking the border collie we are babysitting, and she seemed to enjoy geocaching too.

Hooray! First cache ever! Thanks.
