Hi. I am the landowner and stumbled across this by chance after watching a Facebook video, downloading the app then discovering there was a pin on my property.
Please admire the house from the roadside. The house was last lived in by Glen Dix, famous for waving the checkered flag at the Adelaide Grand Prix formula 1, in the 1950s. It was then left alone and finally destroyed in the 2015 Pinery bushfire. There was talk in our family to build it into a b&b but after the fire came through it then would cost too much and so it sits how it is. (No it isn’t for sale)
