Out and about with CanisMinor, I can never remember and mjholley on our way to Midwest Geobash via a road trip from Illinois to New York and then back to Ohio. This oldie has been on my bucket list for sometime now, so when the opportunity came up to get it, I just had to join in on this road trip. Found this one in short order and good shape. Dropped a couple of trackables. TFTH

Greetings form Chicago, IL. Out, about and MEGA bond with CanisMinor, djpd1023 and mjholley on a epic GeoWoodstock road trip. The adventure, the scenery and the company made this an memorable experience. One, that spanned over 3000 miles, 7 states, 5 days and included multiple events, the GPS Maze, GeoArts, a GeoTour and four of the oldest caches in the United States.
We met some of our friends along the way, as well as, made some new ones too, It was awesome to be around so many great people. I had a blast! I want to offer a sincere thank you to all who brought us out here and the fun we found.
Mingo may have not have been the most direct route to choose when traveling from Chicagoland to Fort Worth. But, it was well worth the drive and now all of us can say we've made the pilgrimage. After all, this is sacred ground in the geocaching world,
All logs were either signed/stamped individually, or as 3BG&S (3 Bald Guys & Steve). For all caches with ALRs, I will be uploading my photos and emailing my answers shortly.

Greetings from Chicago, IL. On vacation with bapierson and LEGOexplorer, spending a few days in Washington DC seeing the sights. After visiting several of the museums along the mall today... we head over here for some dinner, stopping at many memorials and landmarks along the way. I have to admit, this cache was the inspiration for tonight's dinner choice. Thank you for putting this together and showing off these interesting places. I will email my answers shortly.

And so it continues... 31 Days of Geocaching, August 13th, 2013.Took a road trip with bapierson, k-bean, LEGOexplorer and tankgirrl to Southern Illinois for a few days of camping, caching and hiking. We had a great time seeing the sights while visiting the Shawnee National Forest. Made a quick stop here and found a new county. Being a baseball fan, I thought it was neat to see the park, However, being from the Joliet area... All I have to say is - Go Slammers! TFTH

Heading home with the family (bapierson & LEGOexplorer) after vacationing in the Great Smoky Mountains. Gave this one a good search, but came up empty handed just like the previous searchers.
