This area is so neat!! Both times we came there were alligators sleeping just off the walkway— and of course people snapping photos closer than 15’ away. The answer would be to have roving rangers like they do to keep people proper distance from the bears in the GSMNP. Of course, with silly things like government shutdowns and lower funding— this would probably not be a realistic solution. 

Blood, sweat, and almost tears could not bring success. Actually tried this one first. Got eaten by mosquitoes and stepped over a snake skin. Not sure what we did wrong??
